Ellen Murphy-DunnEllen is currently an occasional teacher with two school boards east of Toronto. She completed her Bachelor of Education at York University in 2012 after several other careers, all of which involved extensive involvement in technology. She is a qualified Core French teacher, who brings at least a dozen of her own mobile devices into her LTO classes, not only because there are never enough devices in a school to meet the needs of all students, but because she believes that, when used correctly with learning goals, assessment, and feedback, they can be a game changer for students with and without special needs in language programs.

Katina PapulkasKatina is currently the (seconded) Director of Educational Partnerships for K-12 at TVO. Prior to this new gig, she was an administrator at the TDSB where she worked with both staff and students to successfully plan and integrate a BYOD model. It was a totally team effort!
Before going into administration, Katina was the Instructional Leader for Teaching and Learning with Technology and was seen with all kinds of mobile gadgets in her pockets and muttering.. "Pedagogy before Technology"! |
